    Arthur Brant
    Director of Enterprise Infrastructure
    Abilene Christian University
    Arthur Brant is the Director of Enterprise Infrastructure at Abilene Christian University in Abilene, Texas. In this role, he oversees the networking, systems, storage, telecommunications, and security infrastructures. With more than 18 years' experience in higher education and technology, Arthur has presented at numerous national and international gatherings on topics ranging from mobile connectivity, bandwidth management, social media, consumerization, to emerging technologies. Arthur has been involved with ACUTA for 15 years, and served as chair for both the Social Networking, New Media, & Web Resources Sub-Committee and the Program & Content Committee.

    Adrienne Esposito
    Director, Office of Information Technology
    Rutgers University
           
    Adrienne is the Director of the Office of Information Technology for Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. She has been at Rutgers for 16 years and is responsible for the University network infrastructure and services. Adrienne has an extensive background in technology and management. She has presented at several ACUTA conferences, and has served ACUTA the Social Networking Sub-Committee (Chair), Program Committee, the Education Task Force, and Director at Large. Adrienne holds a BA from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey.

    Jeanne Jansenius 
    Director, Telecom & Tech Infrastructure Services
    Sewanee: The University of the South

    Jeanne is responsible for the development, planning and management operations for Telecommunications & Technology Infrastructure Services at Sewanee: The University of the South. She also sits on various campus-wide committees dealing with technology infrastructure and software planning. Jeanne has served in numerous leadership roles within ACUTA including President, Director at Large, Program Committee Chair, a member of the Journal Editorial Review Board, Legislative & Regulatory Affairs Committee, Ambassadors Task Force, and the Governance Task Force. Jeanne is the recipient of both the Bill D. Morris Award and the Ruth A. Michalecki Leadership Award.

    Michele Morrison
    Manager Client Services/IT Services
    British Columbia Institute of Technology
    Michele has worked for the BC Institute of Technology since 1984 in a variety of positions. She is currently the manager of Client Services which includes the Service Desk and all customer-facing technology including support for all computers in Lab and Administrative areas. She has a special interest in IT Service Management holding multiple ITIL certifications and recently became a Lean Greenbelt. Michele has been involved with ACUTA since 2008 and served as chair of the Membership Experience Committee prior to joining the ACUTA Board.

  • Jerry Krawczyk
    Director, Telecom
    Penn State University

    Jerry Krawczyk, ITIL® Expert, PMP has over 14 years of experience as a Director of Information Technology at The Pennsylvania State University and has prior experience as a senior IT management consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton. Active in ACUTA since 2002, Jerry has presented at numerous conferences on topics and has contributed to the Program & Content Committee and the Environmental Scanning Committee. In addition Jerry has published articles in a number of professional journals. Within Penn State, Jerry leads a team of IT and business professionals provide support services related to IT financial and business management, network and end-user support, application development and hosting, and telecommunications vendor management. Jerry is the recipient of the Jeri Semer Volunteer Recognition Award.

  • Jana McDonald
    Business Relationship Manager
    Texas A&M University

    Jana McDonald is a Business Relationship Manager at Texas A&M University and is responsible for building and maintaining strategic customer relationships between Texas A&M IT and the customers they serve. Responsibilities include aligning service offerings and service level agreements, as well as shaping business demand to maximize value. Prior to serving in this role, Jana was the IT Manager in Telecommunications, responsible for all of the voice offerings on and off campus. Along with supervising the customer service representatives, she oversaw the conversion of 8,000 of 20,000 lines from Centrex to VoIP, redesigned all of the data circuits connections across the state, as well as installed VoIP systems at various remote locations. Jana has been involved with ACUTA for the past 8 years and chaired the Young Professionals Subcommittee, the Membership Committee and served on the Program Committee.

  • Chris Megill
    Associate Director, Customer Support Services
    The George Washington University
     
    Chris Megill is a seasoned IT professional with more than 25 years of technology experience. In his current role, at George Washington University Chris is responsible for leading both the Communication Services and IT Support Center teams, which provide voice, video and data support and 24-hour technology support and request escalation. Additionally, he provides around-the-clock supervision and monitoring of GW's Foggy Bottom and Virginia campus data centers.

  • Michael Palladino
    University of Pennsylvania (retired)
    Michael Palladino is an IT consultant to higher education with over 30 years of experience. He has been an ACUTA member for 26 years and has served on ACUTA's board for 2 years and ACUTA’s Higher Education Advisory Board for 4 years. He also served on the KINBER (PA statewide network) board for 3 years. In 2001 he was honored with ACUTA's initial Ruth A. Michalecki Leadership Award and in 2010 Penn won ACUTA’s Institutional Excellence Award. He was the Associate Vice President in Information System & Computing at Penn where he directed 100 technical professionals and a $25M budget. He was responsible for the university's data, voice and video networks, systems and services supporting over 40,000 customers. He was also the CEO of MAGPI, the Regional Optical Network for Internet2 which served Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware.

  • Ric Simmons
    Deputy CIO and Executive Director
    Louisiana State University and A&M College

    Ric is the Deputy CIO/Executive Director of the University Networking and Infrastructure/High Performance Computing group at Louisiana State University. His portfolio includes the voice and data networks, outside/inside cabling, server infrastructure, high performance computing clusters, and the network operations and data center. With over 28 years in the information communication technology industry (24 in higher education), Ric has presented on a variety of topics at numerous conferences. Ric has served as the ACUTA Program Chair as well as a member of the Leg/Reg, Corporate Liaison, and Environmental Scanning committees. He holds a BS and MS in Engineering from LSU, and is a registered professional engineer (P.E.) in Louisiana.
