Fully registered attendees participating in their first ACUTA event will be officially welcomed by ACUTA leaders on opening night. If this is your first ACUTA event, be sure to mark the appropriate box on your registration form, and join us for a brief orientation Sunday at 5:30. It's your first opportunity to get acquainted with other attendees and become part of the ACUTA network that everyone values!

Sunday: Opening Reception

Sunday night is Logo Night - an ACUTA tradition and great conversation starter. For the opening reception in the exhibit hall on Sunday evening, wear a shirt with your school or company insignia.

This event is a terrific opportunity to meet new people and greet old friends as you build your professional network. And of course you'll want to explore the latest in communications technology presented by the people who design it, supply it, maintain it, and advise you how to implement it on your campus!

Enjoy good company, drinks, and hors d'oeuvres on Sunday from 6:00-8:00 p.m.

Monday Night Event

McCormick & Schmick’s Seafood Restaurant

Since 1979, when they opened the original McCormick & Schmick’s Seafood Restaurant in Portland, Oregon, Bill McCormick and Doug Schmick have built a reputation for providing a memorable dining experience based on fine food and excellent cus-tomer service. In Boston, we will see for ourselves why the restaurants are a favorite coast to coast. Conveniently located within the Boston Park Plaza Hotel, McCormick & Schmick’s specializes in seafood and aged steaks. Our dinner will consist of a mixed green salad, grilled salmon and grilled sirloin, chef’s choice of starch and vegetable, and chocolate cake. Unlimited sodas, coffee, and tea will be provided as well as one glass of wine or beer. A cash bar will also be available.

This event is included for all fully registered attendees and those exhibitors who have purchased a social registration. Guests and additional exhibitors are welcome to attend for a $50 fee. (Space is limited.) ACUTA policy prohibits children under age 16 from attending.

Be prepared to provide guest’s name and names of guests who will be sharing the room, address, phone numbers, arrival and departure dates, any special requests such as specially equipped rooms, preferred bed size, and method of pay-ment. (Note: All rooms are nonsmoking.)

Credit card information or one night’s deposit is required to guarantee your room. (The hotel accepts American Express, Diners Club, Discover, MasterCard, and Visa.)
